Placement of MSW/BSW/International students

Objective:

To diffuse knowledge, create awareness and find suitable placement for the students to gain rich and valuable experience in the field of social service.

ODP with its rich experience in the field of social work and a resource centre for many Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, caters to the training needs of young and enthusiastic boys and girls who seek their way into this line of work.

Orientation & Placement:

30 MSW and 11 BSW students from various Colleges and Universities had come to ODP for block, field and summer placements. After giving required orientation, ODP made necessary arrangements for their field placements. On completion of their block placements, certificates were awarded to the students.

Ms. Devanshi Sharma – Student from NMIMS, Mumbai

Ms. Devanshi Sharma – student from The School of Business Management, NMIMS, Mumbai, came as an internee under We Care: Civic Engagement Internship Programme, from February 1st to February 24th, 2018. During her Internship she worked under Sushravya Upliftment Foundation (SUF) – MFI Company and she prepared a business plan for the company.

Ms. Patricia – Volunteer from Spain

Ms. Patricia –from Spain came as a Volunteer through Field services and Inter- cultural learning India (FSL, India) for two months, from September 2017 to October 2017. During her volunteer ship she worked under Water and Sanitation Program and prepared grand report on open defecation in India, common presentation for Water & sanitation project and format for survey program.


Ms. Marina Morgan– Volunteer from Argentina

Ms. Marina from TECHO – Argentina who is working in microfinance program since 3 years. She was Director of the Office at Neuquen City also Director of Social Research Department.
She approached ODP for the two weeks volunteer service and worked in Women Empowerment Program from 13th December to 23rd December 2017. She also visited Self Help Groups (SHGs), Central Committees (CCs) and Federation meeting to understand the role of women in the community development.
On the last day of working she has planted a sapling as part of Plantree program in the campus of ODP. She expressed her gratitude towards this opportunity since it was the first planting of sapling in her life.
