This program is to support candidates with potential to appear for the Public Service examinations from our working areas, so that they become value-based leaders. Candidates gain confidence through personality development, leadership and career guidance and communication training.
Each of these departments have their own planning and monitoring techniques and functions independently as a resource body for other Government and Non – government organization.
- Miss. Leena attended an interview at KROSS and was selected for the Civil Service Examination coaching classes. At present she is attending coaching classes in Delhi for a duration of 12 months.
- Ms. Vennila is doing her higher studies and is simultaneously preparing for civil service examinations.
- Fr. Becket D’Souza, Secretary, MDES, donated 20,000/ for the education of these students.
In the 3rd cycle the RI volunteers in 4 villages completed their program by raising awareness on Wash program and advocacy. Children, Youth SHG women were motivated with peer education. Children were motivated to keep their school campus every day. This was regularly followed up by children also noticed by the school teachers. In 2 villages, volunteer have constructed rain water harvesting units for the community purpose and 3 toilet structures for needy beneficaires in each villages.
On the valedictory day their service was honoured and appreciated by the community and by the Staff and Director of ODP.
