Today, Jayram chaired committee meetings for the Nisarga FPO (Hebbale) and Bhoomithayi FPO (Kudumangalore). Both organizations are currently grappling with significant internal friction and a waning sense of collective purpose.

Despite an exhaustive review of the FPO’s historical impact—ranging from life-saving COVID-19 financial relief and free fertilizer distribution to specialized training and exposure visits—the appetite for continued collaboration among some members remains low.

Leadership isn’t just about celebrating growth; it’s about navigating the “plateaus” and respecting the democratic right of members to choose their path. I have advised those wishing to depart to formalize their withdrawal through official channels with the Director of ODP.
