The Organisation for the Development of People (ODP), Mysuru, has operated under a defined legal and organisational framework since 1984. This page sets out our statutory compliance record, our organisational structure, and the team that carries our work forward.

Compliance

Legal and statutory compliance

ODP maintains its registrations, tax status, and statutory filings in good standing across the following areas.

Registration & governance

  • Valid registration certificate in place
  • Copies of MoA / AoA / Bye Law / Trust Deed available
  • Valid Darpan registration
  • Registrations obtained from concerned departments as relevant to each programme

Tax & financial compliance

  • Valid 80G and 12A(a) certificates
  • Valid PAN and TAN
  • Income tax returns filed for the last 3 years
  • GST registration and filing, where applicable
  • Annual reports with financial details published for the last 2 years
  • External auditor appointed with Board approval

FCRA compliance

  • Valid FCRA registration
  • FCRA reports submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs, quarterly and annually

Statutory labour & welfare

  • TDS registered and filed for eligible staff, professionals, vendors and contractors, and remitted to the government
  • Minimum Wages Act partially followed and implemented
  • PF covered, for units with 18 or more staff
  • ESI covered for all staff drawing a salary below ₹21,000 per month

Safeguarding policies

  • Vishaka Policy approved by the Board, with a standing committee in place
  • Child Protection Policy approved by the Board, with a standing committee in place
Governance

Our structure

ODP is led by the President and Governing Body, with day-to-day operations overseen by the Director, supported by Managers across HR & Administration, Programmes, and Finance, down to field-level animators and support services.
