Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Employment Program (PEEP)
At the heart of The Organization for the Development of People (ODP) lies PEEP—a transformative initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through economic self-reliance. By bridging the gap between untapped potential and market demand, PEEP serves as a catalyst for sustainable livelihoods among the most vulnerable segments of our society.
Our Vision: From Vulnerability to Self-Reliance
The core mission of PEEP is to secure dignified livelihoods for the poor, marginalized, and unemployed. We believe that financial independence is the cornerstone of social empowerment. Through targeted Income Generating Programs (IGPs) and industry-relevant skill acquisition, we transition individuals from dependency to leadership.
Strategic Objectives
- Skill Bridging: Providing technical and vocational training to school dropouts, widows, the physically challenged, and the rural unemployed.
- Entrepreneurial Incubation: Facilitating the journey from trainee to business owner, particularly for women’s self-help groups and watershed committees.
- Market Integration: Creating robust channels for marketing local products, ensuring that grassroots production meets modern consumer standards.
- Inclusive Growth: Tailoring programs specifically for those often left behind by the traditional economy, including persons with disabilities and marginalized youth.
The Hub of Innovation: Training-cum-Production Units
PEEP operates four specialized Training-cum-Production units located directly on the ODP campus. These units function as “living classrooms” where theoretical knowledge meets real-world application.
- Immersive Learning: Trainees work alongside experts in a professional production environment.
- Immediate Employment: These units provide direct job opportunities for women and youth upon completion of their modules.
- Quality Standards: Products manufactured here are refined for the competitive market, instilling a sense of pride and professional excellence in every participant.
A Legacy of Impact
The success of PEEP is measured not just in numbers, but in the transformed lives of thousands of families across the region.
Impact Metric | Milestone Achievement |
Total Beneficiaries | Over 9,500 individuals empowered with professional skills. |
Employment Rate | 75% of all trainees successfully secured gainful employment or launched self-employment ventures. |

Join the Movement
PEEP is more than a training program; it is an ecosystem of hope. By investing in human capital, we are not just creating employees—we are nurturing the entrepreneurs, artisans, and leaders of tomorrow.
“True empowerment is giving a person the tools to build their own future. Through PEEP, we aren’t just providing jobs; we are restoring dignity.”
