To improve this situation Farmer Producer Organisation (FPOs) have been thought of and formed-for improved productivity, collective marketing and direct linkages to the market system- so as to eliminate middlemen and money lenders and get a better pricing to the farmers, for their produce. Awareness programs are conducted on Farmer Producers Organizations in 4 District. Orientation was given on concept of FPO, aims and objective of project, benefits, membership fee, formation of committee, roles & responsible of committee member and on the input and output marketing. 850 members are benefited.
